In this paper, a simulation model of the hydraulic condition is established according to the complexity of the network topology, and a method is proposed to judge the hydraulic intersection location of the ring network by combining the flow direction and the minimum closure difference. Taking the central heating network in an urban area as the research object, the hydraulic condition simulation model of the network is established according to three kinds of complexity, and verified with three kinds of conditions. The results show that the method can accurately judge the hydraulic intersection location of the ring network, and the absolute value of the maximum relative error between the model simulation pressure and the actual value of each stage is less than 10%. Moreover, the higher the topology complexity of the network, the smaller the model simulation error, and the higher the modeling cost.
